August 25 - This month saw Eden - Serenlas Heaven In Blu go back into the show ring after a long break. Eden stepped into the ring as a veteran and won best Veteran in breed at 3 consecutive championship shows.

Early in the month I was off travelling again with Ivana, this time to the WDS (World Dog Show) in Helsinki. We had an amazing trip which included seminars and some sight seeing. I look forward to returning.
The end of the month I had the privilege of judging Rough collies at the London & Provincial open show. It was a super sunny day with a fabulous entry of 45 dogs.
Dylan - Serenlas The Jokerman stepped into the ring for the first time in the baby class and took 1st place.

July 25 - A quiet month for showing, just a few open shows.

Every year I try to organise a gathering for those that have Serenlas pups. This year we once again gathered at Llanachaeron.

June 25 - Ivana persuded me to fly out to Tuscany where she was showing Lola - Serenlas Jack O' Lantern. What a fabulous weekend we had. Tuscany is beautiful!!!! We had great fun showing and catching up with friends, including a cwtch with one of my very favourite dogs, Piaf. Piaf (One Extraordinary Blu du Cambiano) is the sire of my Eden (Serenlas Heaven In Blu). He has had the most amazing show career and it was so good to see him looking so well.
Lola had a great time in the ring winning CAC, CACIB, BOS.

I also had the pleasure of being invited to the Wicani Jamboree which is always something I really look forward to. Its a great oppotunity to chat to like minded people and to ask questions.

May 25 - We had a great month showing, the highlight being Ash winning a Challange Certificate at Southen Counties one of my favourite and luckiest shows.

Pups went off to new homes and Dylan - Serenlas Jokerman stayed.
March 25 - No showing a Crufts this year but an extended visit. Ivana decided we should take full advantage of not showing and spend two days not only watching the judging but taking the time to shop and shop we did. We stayed to Best In Show on the Sunday which I would recommend doing if you ever have the oppotunity.

I left the pups in the capable hands of good friends who also had a great time.

Catching up with friends

January 25 - Unfortunately we had awful weather for the weekend I was judging Roughs at Lichfield Canine society. I had a fabulous entry of 27 but due to the storm only 10 made it but I had some super dogs to judge.
I was epecially pleased with my BOB Essanjay Ring Of Fire, only 9 months of age but stood out and showed well for one so young. As I said in my critique I would have happily taken him home.

Essanjay Ring Of Fire

December 24 - amidst a major storm I had the pleasure of judging the Smooth Collies at the British Collie club open show. I was very pleased with my winners. Due to the ferocity of the storm I couldn't get home so had an additional overnight stop with a friend where we talked dogs well into the night, always so enjoyable.

Just the one championship show where Saffi took 2nd in open bitch. By the end of the month we had the excitement of the girls being in season so its fingers crossed for puppies in February

Truly had an exiting time visiting Annette for a few days, she is now renamed the 'Serenlas foster mama'. Once home Truly was off for an agility session with Alex.
November 24 - just a few local shows this month. Nothing exciting to report.

Eden went off on a Scottish holiday with Heulwen and family and from the pictures and feedback had a super time.

September 24- not so many shows but very successful, Ash achieved a Reserve Challenge Certificate at Darlington, a lovely surprise as he is not yet at his best.
At West of England Collie Club we had an extremely good day at the open show. Saffi won best in show, Ash won best dog and Truly won best puppy bitch.
Still enjoying some good weather so a few enjoyable walks at Llanachaeron

End of september Tilly an Inca daughter has come to stay for a few months, lovely to see how she has developed, she has a really gentle nature and has settled in well.
August 24- A busy month showing with some great results, we traveled far and wide having a lot of fun.
Saffi won 2 Reserve Challange Certificates. Ash was introduced to some serious showing going to several championship shows. He was well received but we still need to work on his standing and allowing him to get use to all the delights and noises of large Championship shows. I also had my daughter home so we were able to have some fun with young Raven who went to a breed club open show where she won 1st place in the baby class.
We also enjoyed the good weather making good use of the empty fields for lots of free running and bale climbing.
Ivana and Lola were busy at the 4 night show at Istria where they were awarded 'Winner' for achieving 3 CACIB's during the 4 shows.

July 24- Weather so much better we have been able to go out jogging and build up some muscle on Ash and the girls. A very sucessful show at Oswestry Saffi won BOB & G3 Truly won BPIB & PG2. Oswestry was also Ash's first show, he took 3rd in OD/B behind Saffi.
June 24 - Saffi & Truly both had sucesses in the ring at Three counties and Cheshire County show. Most of the month was spent getting to know Ash, building a relationship with him getting him in condition for the ring, I'm looking forward to showing him. After much deliberating Karla is adding Raven to her team and I will have the pleasure of showing her.

May 24 - A pretty busy month. We went to quite a few shows with some great successes. Truly won another PPG3 and Saffi won her 2nd CC at one of my favorite shows, Southern Counties.
End of May Ash arrived. Massive thank you to Andreja for allowing him to come amd massive thank you to Chris at K9 couriers for transporting him and putting up with my constant need for updates.

We also had our annual Serenlas Collie gathering at https://www.contisicecream.com/llanerchaeron
So lovely to see everyone, people and dogs and some collie friends. Everyone is welcome to enjoy a walk and then some refreshments.
April 24 - Truly had a very sucessful time at Llanelli show winning BPIB & PPG3
I was also invited to Croatia for the WDS where was thrilled to be asked to show Lola. Team Lola were back together as Ivana, Alek and I spend 5 fabulous days together enjoying the various groups and preparing Lola, who was awarded an Excellent in a very large class.
While there Ivana knowing my story with Ash took me to his breeder to visit and I was thrilled to see some gorgous puppies and Ash. I think I shocked Andreja when I asked her if I could take Ash to the UK but she was happy for him to come and he will arrive in May.

March 24 - Eden has 3 gorgeous girls. All arrived safely and mama doing well. Eden is a natural mama she loves maturnal duties.
Crufts is always the highlight of the showing world and this year I had the huge honour of showing Paddyad for Susan & Mike. Paddyad was 5th in Limit dog, a fantatic achievement. I also showed Willow who I always show as my duaghter has no interest or time for showing. Willow won 2nd in Limit Bitch which was also a fantastic achievement.
